carrot halwa recipe


ingredients:
1kg carrot
1 liter fresh milk
500 grm sugar
3-4 tsp ghee
8-10 cashew nuts
5-6 almonds
2 tsp raisin

method: 
  1. wash and grate the carrots and keep it covered in a bowl.
  2. in a big vessel add some ghee and cashew nuts, almonds, raisin and mix well in the ghee.
  3. now add the grated carrot and continously mix it for 15-20 mins.
  4. add milk in the carrots and keep it on low flames and keep on stirring it.
  5. add sugar and mix well till the milk and sugar are absorbed by the carrots for about 1/2 hour and cook.
  6. turn off the flames and transfer the halwa in a bowl and garnish it with some cashew and almonds on it.
