ingredients for chole:
1 cup chana (soaked overnight)
1 onion
2 potatoes
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp chole masala powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp mango powder
2 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
2 tsp oil
ingredients for bhature:
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
salt to taste
1 cup water
oil to deep fry
method for chole:
- take a pressure cooker and pressure cook the chole and potato till they are soft and take that in a bowl and keep aside
- take a pan add oil and let the pan heat than add onions and mix it till golden brown and add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, chilli powder, tumeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, mango powder, chole powder and mix well.
- add boiled chole and potatoes and mix it well and cook it till 15-20 mints.
- for garnishing add ring onions and add some lemon juice to taste.
- take a bowl add flour and salt and some baking soda and mix it with water to make dough.
- knead the dough till its very soft.
- take a wet cloth and cover the dough with the wet cloth and keep aside.
- now after some time take the dough and make 4-5 round balls.
- taking a rolling board and rolling pin roll the dough balls into a circle like chapiti.
- take a fry pan add oil and deep fry the dough on both the sides till golden brown
- serve it with chole and enjoy eating ....!!!
- take a bowl and add flour
